One of the few maps I started again right after I had played through it. And it was a completely different map. Great non-linear replay value. And you hit the Thief vibe on the head. Great. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your kind words!
Absolutely nails the Thief vibe, very charming, incredible use of space. Only nitpick would be that some parts of town are a little dark, we could have had a couple of the iconic steampunk-y lampposts. Couldn't find the 5th secret sadly, not entirely sure if it's in the sewer and is to be achieved with the biosuit. Either way, looking for more Thiefyness, especially Constantine's Mansion inspired.

Thank you so much! I'm planning my next map to be more System Shock-y but I will definitely return to this aesthetic in the future (with brighter lighting lol). Btw, there's no secrets in the sewer ;]
Pretty good map, I like the atmosphere and the open-endedness experience. My only real complaint is that it was hard to find weapons and I ended up having to rely on the starter shotgun for a good chunk of the map. Otherwise, well done!

I wanted to make it more of a survival horror feel, so I limited the selection of weapons. For future maps I'll try to improve on the sequencing, since it's a little easy to miss things that are obvious in one path, but out of the way in others. Thank you for your feedback!
This is a map with a strong old school flair, maybe indicated by the specified inspiration of the mentioned games, but I haven't played them.

On a quake timelime I would locate it before the turn of the millennium.

That's, of cause, okay with me, because I'm a retro gamer in the sense that I only play old ego-shooters.

Especially the one and only :)

So it's a conservative haunted village, and I like it.

I can't write much about textures, light, shadows and etc. and all these engine things I read so much about here.

For me it's, like doom metal, a matter of feeling.
It feels good.

Thank you so much! I'm super happy that people get the old school intent behind this.
