Played it in Arcane Dimensions, and then in Copper! Honestly I think it's actually easier in AD's exclusive skill 4 than it is with Copper skill 3. Very fun way to waste not one, but two afternoons. : )
ps: I like having a lot of yellow armours! -sincerely, me

Great map. Large but not overwhelming, challenging at times but not frustrating, fun to explore, balanced and fun in every way.
My favourite custom vanilla map for quake. Big map with constant theme and gameplay space scale changes. A lot of fun combat setups and really nice pacing. I like the art style of this map, e1m3 references and the scale of the outdoors area.

Would be better at some places to have smoother brushwork or some clip brushes to compensate uneven ground and such. Tho it's mostly the problem of the swamp area and last battle area.

Last battle was super fun on first playthrough and the whole map is very replayable with VoidMod.

Great work!
Seriously top-tier Quake. The only thing bringing it down are imbalanced pickup placement (I don't think I ever ran out of Yellow Armour) and a few 'bs' secret moments. The return to the E1M3 ending was seriously fun too, love to see those kinds of homages.

100% agree on the armors, there would be a lot less of those if I would make the map today.
Definitely top contender for the best map zigi has created. This one is like your typical AD map done in vanilla Quake. You will get just as much joy looking around the details as you get from gameplay and combat encounters.
This was an absolute blast to play again. I love it when maps have a heavy exploration element while still keeping the main path very clear, so I can hunt for secrets without ever getting lost. My favorite part was climbing all over the rooftops.
An epic length tribute to The Necropolis (E1M3). Loaded with monsters, ammo, and secrets, and detail, this map also doubles as a tribute to Quake decadence.
