The Ranger Who Would Never Be . . . . What They Made Him To Be.

Very nice. The colorless textures set a very gloomy and hopeless mood - quite exceptional. The fist bit inside the cell cage is soul-crushing.
The animated textures work fine, but they seem a bit misplaced here. But i'm sure they could be reworked to fit into the overall theme.
I hope your next map will be a bit larger. There certainly ain't any chance that your players will be bored! :)
Thanks for Your efforts, and thanks for sharing!
This shit is best I played in Quake in long time... textures are simple but that silver/gray color are amazing. Unique I dislike is there arent enought ammo o_O

It's a fun short map, it has it's hiccups in ammo and combat but overall for a small map it's good, the texturing and lighting gave it an horror feeling... very interesting map!

As a big fan of outbreak settings, I would have liked this part of the map to have been a bit bigger. I would probably also have swapped Secret and Outbreak. After that, the map started to let up a bit. The textures matched the mood quite well. Everything could have been a bit more difficult. The animated textures worked. Thanks a lot.

Despite my 3 star rating, I think it's more "above average." Cool idea and aesthetic, but very short and not very complex in terms of the layout. Thought ammo was a little tight, since I didn't have any shells left for the end first time I played. (Though, you can just jump into the exit.)

Would definitely be cool as part of something bigger, like a set of maps or if the community had another event like Noir Jam.

A 5 minute short & sweet blast.

Visually I could appreciate the unique monochrome aesthetic it was going for, although the textures did feel a little 'busy'. I think I would have preferred slightly less graininess as well as a bit more difference between light grey & dark grey to improve contrast. Then maybe some more beams or pillars for casting cool shadows. But still, very original vibe

Gameplay on skill 1 was a bit on the easy side, I didn't feel threatened until the final room and even then I managed to cheese the final fight (as you can see in the demo). Still fun though.
