Reliquary

I really liked these. They were challenging for me but doable, I really had to pay attention, no sleep walking through. I think you set up some really clever fights that were super fun.

Looking forward for more! Hard maps with new balanced weapons built specifically for their purpose? Sign me up. Lower difficulty settings are pretty fair for standard Quake campaign difficulty too if you don't care for the challenge.
This was an incredibly fun and refreshing experience! The new weapon changes feel super satisfying and allow you to deal massive damage very quickly. The maps' difficulties are challenging with lots of replay value, and the secrets are rewarding to find. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique twist on Quake's gameplay!
A fun pair of maps with a noticeably increased difficulty. Both are nice to look at, and house some clever encounters. The changes to the weaponry are interesting, and certainly help to even out the heightened challenge. I almost wish that the pistol had a slightly smaller spread, even though it's already more accurate than the classic shotgun. Otherwise the axe has become incredibly useful and the runic shotgun quite satisfying.
Tight, action packed, at times sadistic. There is a huge gap between skills 0 and 1 - first requires little attention, while later is punishing for poor map knowledge. Maps are small and encouters usually end fast (thanks to weapon balance changes), so there is little harm in failing and trying again, but your first playthorugh might feel unfair (in Otsegolation especially) if you pick higher difficulty right away.
Very cool map pack. Personally I appreciated switch from shotgun to pistol - to me it felt proper & natural. Because of that alone I really wait for a full release. As for maps themselves - yeah they're hard but doable on Easy (Normal here). Even for very casual player as me. And beating them is very-very pleasing - like you won some real challenge. Encounters are all top-notch, extremely well-thought out - yes, the thoughtfulness of all the details was felt; not lazy maps, energy was invested into them indeed. And for the last - look; lookes perfect. Brushwork is intricate but not overloaded, lighting is full of contrast and smartly indicates points of interest
