couldnt seem to add the mod folders, so i removed the mods out of the programme launcher to start again and it seemed to delete EVERYTHING in my id1 file apart from the original pak files. nightmare. not going to chance it again! Looks to be a good tool but I either wasnt using it properly or there is a problem - i think its a really bad feature to delete everything in the folders!

How exactly did you delete mods? In the main launcher window? Or in the add mod window?
In the main launcher window, it is impossible to delete the "id1" folder.
If you deleted folders in the add mod window, you could delete the "id1" folder if the first letter of the folder was in uppercase "Id1". I will fix this in the new version of the launcher. I'm sorry that you encountered such a problem.
First Quake launcher that I found that allow me to use my own custom made thumbnails to visually represent my mod folder. I'm a visual type of guy, so browsing any collection only using folder names is boring. Give me anything that allow me to quickly browse my hundreds of mods only using my eyes, along with the ability to automatically match them with their dependencies, and I will instantly fall in deep love with you <3 (homosexuality included :3)
indispensable for the launching and cataloging of my hundreds of quake maps. The author is receptive to input and regularly updates it. This and the two frontends I use for Doom wads (DoomLauncher by hobomaster) and Thief FMs (AngelLoader) are invaluble to me.
Fantastic tool, really helpful for managing all the maps and mods.
This is really useful, especially for mods that work better with different source ports and for mods which are hard to identify with the folder name, the only thing I would add is an option to change the image without having to drag it from the folder

This is unrelated, but I'm glad to finally change Simple Quake Launcher because I keep confusing it with SQL
