The_Grey_Stardust_Zone has the potential to support simple or complex strategies. Even though the map is highly intuitive to grasp the basics of its gameplay, more subtle options to obtain victory exist.
Rotten Medikit Control Strategy
Starving the opponent of chances to heal wounds can make it easier to get a frag. Monitor the two rotten medikits and make sure the enemy does not use them. Even if you are at 100 health points, you can physically obstruct your enemy from easily obtaining the prized items. Other ways exist to control the rotten medikits -- try different strategies of your own.
Ammo Control Strategy
It stands to reason that an enemy is going to expend ammo trying to frag you. Keeping this in mind, controlling the ammo supply in The_Grey_Stardust_Zone properly gives advantages. If your opponent is out of ammo for all weapons, the axe is what remains as your threat. If you have ammo for your weapons and your opponent must resort to melee-range attacks, you have a greater chance to earn a frag.
Double-Barrelled Shotgun Control Strategy
This weapon is the best all-around fire-arm available: though best effective at short-range combat, the pellets can still damage the enemy from afar. The pellets can fire between open obstacles that have spaces in them, which can deter your opponent from camping for long periods behind places such as the ammo location, or even the area where the Double-Barrelled Shotgun is awaiting. Backpacks from fragged opponents will likely contain shells, which can make it easier to have ammo for this weapon.
