Ferric Oxide - Medium to Large-ish metal/runic map, probably smells like rust

Map requires: [ Copper v1.30 | not included ]

This map was the result of three things that I wanted to do. Wanted to make something largely inspired by parts of E1M6 & Episode 3, wanted to make something more closed-in, and wanted to do some basic stuff with trains.

Much like what ended up happening with Outpost Auriga IV, I got really caught up in the detailing step and lost track of time.

Most of the textures come from either vanilla or MG1. The two yellow cross-light...

I liked it overall!

Wasn't quite sure how to survive the grenades trap in the bit at the end though, and just had to God my way through it. Also ended up fighting Shamblers with rockets/grenades at that point since it was all I had left. Found all but one secret; might revisit.

~Added some extra health to the spike shooter platforming area


~Added extra time between grenade bursts on Normal/Hard

~Changed the fire order of the grenade burst on Normal

~Added extra armor/health to the lift section


~Added a bit more ammo to the fiend rooms at the bottom of the lift

~Barred off the 'extra silver key' door at the bottom of the lift section until at least two fiends have been killed

I like this quite a lot until the huge lowering elevator platform part, which is just not fun IMO. It's repetetive, seemingly neverending and frustrating at that. So basically I won't bother going past that section and finish the map.
