This is a pretty good map, although as others have noted, it's much harder at the start (that ambush is deadly) than it is towards the end. The detailing and puzzle design is nice - although I think the "detonator plunger" is distracting (I wasted - as did others on playthrough - some time trying to work out if I was supposed to hit/jump on/shoot it to "blow up the wall"). I also found, as someone who's not good at jumping, some of the puzzle flow unintuitive - I spent some time trying to work out how to get the second two "red pillars"
before I realised you needed to do trick jumps to get to them and the nailgun.
. Similarly for parts of the later jumping puzzle, where it wasn't clear to me if I was "supposed to be able to do this jump".

I liked all the secrets, and the use of destructible terrain in general.
Gorgeous music and sky wrapped up in a sunken ruins theme. I'm a sucker for aquatic aesthetics in anything, period.
Cool map, great detailing and fun encounters. Took me 13 minutes to finish with a handful of deaths.
It's been a long time since I've seen so much detail in a map. The combination of exciting battles and small "puzzles" had the right rhythm for me. Since I have a red-green visual impairment, searching for red buttons in a green environment was not my favourite pastime, but because of the many details and the great atmosphere, I still have to give 5 stars. Thank you very much.
Great map, very atmospheric and full of meticulous details. Excellent use of slime as environmental hazard. A couple of pretty inventive tricks (I wouldn't exactly call them puzzles) used to progress and open doors. Combat is pretty tough in places (I feel like the beginning of the map is more difficult than the ending arena), new monster attacks from progs_dumps are utilized well.

I think there are not enough shells in the sections before the nailgun. If the shotgun runs out, which is your only weapon, it can be frustrating, considering that you need to shoot buttons to unlock nailgun.

Despite minor gripes, I feel that the inventiveness and freshness of the map more than makes for it.

My blind playthrough:
Lovely. First puzzle room presents the aesthetic excellently and that custom music is great.

The "key" to open a later area is fun and foreshadowed well. That puzzle to get the nailgun is also fun. Good puzzles in general. Some jumping but no kaizu Mario escapades.

Some fights in tight spaces and a little ammo tight in the middle on hard, but not obnoxiously so. Very welcome. I had soldiers sneaking around sniping at me for half the level. I don't know if it was intended but it was cool.

Really cool environmental weapon in the middle you may or may not run into and a fun reveal later on.

Uses vores but doesn't spam them.

Guess I have to go play their other map, Prison of Hope!
