Like, all the portals to the episodes except the first one, give's the impresion of a out of this world universe like, Realm of the Black Magic. The Netherworld, and the Elder World, like, they are protected by others marines to prevent someone like Ranger to take the rune of their portals?

They can be a intepretation that Shub-Niggurath, mental control the soldiers in the base and use it like soldiers in the normal world?
This is just a way to use Doom style when Quake had no dirrection? And also Hi, im new here.

well, since the background of the campaign is very close to doom, I believe that all the first maps are tech base to mention the cargo transport portal that opens another dimension through which Shub-Niggurath has knowledge of the dimension of humans and where invasions happen, or something like that. You can see more about the game background on the quake wiki:

And you know some maps that lean of mostly tech base?.

I'll like Quake for they intentions of weirdness, but i also like when authors put some background to the earth too. There this Mappack that was on the Remastered edition, Arkane i trink, they did really well with their 3 maps formats.

if you want a tech-only map pack, Alkaline is strongly reccomended:

At some point during the development, the first episode was supposed to have all 4 base levels. And even that is not one of the first iterations either. More information here: http://scar3crow.com/2016/01/quakes-original-map-order/#more-471

Then at some point the shareware episode was decided to include different levels. This story was described in Masters of Doom, when suddenly Carmack stated that Quake shareware episode won't be featuring Romero's levels, but rather Willits' maps, because they are "more cohesive".

In the end, the shareware episode has a base intro, a few swampy medieval areas, a castle, and couple of "runic/metal" world locations. This created variety, imagine having 3 or 4 base maps in a row, with also limited fitting enemy roster, it would become boring very fast. The other episodes were basically levels grouped mostly by designer.

I guess the base intro levels are just different facilities with their slipgates leading to different worlds.
