Here's a perpetually-incomplete list of Quake-centric (or generally Quake focused) YouTube channels. Feel free to drop your own recommendations for this list, or any new and interesting videos in this thread for general discussion and such!

General
  • Quake Speedruns Explained - Does exactly what it says on the tin, well-researched and presented.
  • Matt's Ramblings - Focused on diving deep into Quake's quirks, code and trivia. The closest thing this community has to science.
  • QuakeCast - Podcast featuring Quake community members speaking on projects they've been a part of.
  • GroinMischief - Variety channel featuring gameplay, tutorials, deathmatch, level showcases, frag videos, etc.
  • Sandy of Cthulhu - Sandy Petersen's personal channel. Features many non-Quake related videos.
  • Andrew Yoder - Level design studies of maps from Quake and other games.
  • Kebby_Quake - Mod showcases and map playthroughs.
  • Quake done Quick - The official Speed Demos Archive Youtube channel, regularly uploads demo recordings of speedruns.
Tutorials
  • Dumptruck_ds - Tutorial and general Quake news channel. A must-sub for any Quake community aficionado.
  • Slipseer - Design-focused tutorial videos, showing best practices for creating interesting layouts and art.
  • Fairweather - Tutorials for 3D modeling in Quake, and trailers for released projects.
Commentated Custom Map Playthroughs

Wow. That's VERY useful. I never knew about the very existance of ALOT of channels. THANKS
Honestly, I assumed this list was all mostly obvious people. But I'm super glad that people actually didn't know about a lot of these. Matt's Ramblings, Quake Speedruns Explained and Korendian are hidden gems.
