QoL, fixes, or cosmetic improvements add-ons?

I been playing a lot of single-level maps with the Copper mod, which made me wonder...

What other mods or add-ons exist out there that don't stray too much from vanilla and instead improve it with fixes, QoL, or even purely cosmetic changes?

Other than Copper it's pretty much a wash. There's a few standalone progs that fix things like the Fish counting bug and some other minor stuff, but they're tough to find. There's also Quake Reforged, but as with Copper that does a lot of large changes, more than Copper rn.

I managed to find a few ones here and there. Most of them made by NightFright, which mostly just fixes some bugs and add colored lightmaps to the original releases.

The most known one he made was Authentic Models which upgrades the models a fair bit, which is pretty cool and is now essential whenever I play Quake.
I wish that with the ressurection the game has had, there will be more people to make gameplay mods like Copper that changes the gameplay to be more fun and balanced or to add more power to the map creator.

I was going to suggest the Authentic Models pack. There are also the md5 models from the remaster which are supported by most source ports these days.

For the purpose that Copper serves, I don't feel like I really need anything else as a mapper. There are other options with their own ethos such as Arcane Dimensions, Alkaline, and Progs_Dump, as well as an increasing number of mods that add features and changes on top of Copper and others to create their own gameplay base, such as Dwell, Reliquary, and Re:Mobilize.
