Well, anyway that's the case in the otherwordly places where our good old ranger will venture at the occasion of the 3rd Re:Mobilize jam whose cool title is: Re:Frigerated !
Bury him under avalanches, send him out skating on frozen lakes, makes him look for fresh meat in a giant freezer. It's up to you!
Your mission statement is that the players shall shiver in front of their screen and long for the next Spring!!!

While not an obligation, don't hesitate to make the most of the new trigger_slippery entity to make the player gracefully and semi-uncontrollably glide over the ice up to the next deadly pit or meat grinder.

Start date: NOW!
End date: 1st of February

Here are the requirements:
  • Map name prefixed by "rfj_" (Re:Frigerated Jam --> rfj_xxx where 'xxx' is the name of the author or the name of the map, as you like).
  • Exit either to start map (default) or to a bonus secret map if you feel like making one.
  • Adjusted for difficulty settings
  • Any custom sounds, models, skyboxes, music, etc. in a folder with the same rfj_xxx name as your map to avoid potential conflicts with other mappers' custom assets or assets already provided with Re:Mobilize (ex. progs/rfj_scampie, sound/rfj_scampie, etc.).
@ShamblerTheFiend: you're right! That's the very font I used purposedly. ;)
But please don't answer to questions about the jam as if you were a member of the organization team, this can only confuse the mappers with possibly wrong information like in your answer above; thank you in advance for your understanding 🙏

You are very welcome to craft your own map based on the Re:Mobilize mod, of course! 😄

think i'm going to miss the deadline, sorry... i slacked the first couple weeks, and then bit off a bit too much when the deadline was extended. it's not even that big of a map, i've just become slow at mappery and have too much perfectionism... i'll try my best, but being honest with myself how much i need to finish i'm just not going to get it all done tomorrow (sunday)

edit: yep, not happening, sorry. i'll finish it up during the week and release it separately as a DLC map

I'm thrilled to know you tried to take the gauntlet. The jam is officially over but we have not yet merged all the contributions into the final archive, so if ever in the meantime you managed to finish what you were working on, there are probably a few hours left to go!
