A Classic Deathmatch Jam in collaboration with the QuakeWorld community. A pack of 22 unique new maps desigined explicitly for vanilla play (compatable with Netquake, QuakeWorld, and KEX/Rerelease).

Jam Hosts: Annihilazor & Infiniti
Jam Timeline: July 12th - Aug 8th 2026

Install instructions

To play as a standalone mod in Ironwail, Netquake, or Kex/Rerelease drop the folder into your quake directory (alongside id1).

gorgeous! I like how clean and confident your rocks and cliffwork are! I always just desperately spam shapes and rock greebles everywhere

My map - Violacea.

FFA and 4v4. Built to loop around a central Quad Damage with the LG and RL at the periphery and several timed doors around the map that cycle open and closed on a 15 second timer. If anyone sees an unaligned texture in any of these, do not tell me under any circumstances.

you could download the map pack and run the maps locally on your system and just explore them easily.

tbh, even when we were young and DM mapping was the focus of the quake mapping scene, most of us just ran around the empty maps and imagined how they would play

Currently the maps are available on the following quakeworld servers:

• den.qwsrv.com:28501-28504 (Denver, Colorado)
• 172.236.100.99:28501-28504 (Chicago)
• ny.qwsrv.com:28501-28504 (New York)
• napakettu.club:28501-28502 (Oslo, Norway)

The maps have also been added to the quakeworld Hub, so matches can be watched, and demos will be stored at https://hub.quakeworld.nu/
