Doomworld's Cacowards but for Quake

I kinda wanna see something like the cacowards but for quake modding and mapping.
I feel like this will bring awareness more people to quake to play the actual quake and it's maps/mods, rather than only thinking of quake as that game most other games are built off of.
I mean Would it be called shamblewards or quadawards? (PLEASE DON'T NAME IT AFTER THE VORE!!)
Also which quake community would even host it? of course here we have this place (SlipSeer), we have quaddicted, I think there is a quakeworld place...

But anyways, I think we should have a cacowards for quake modding, it'll bring more awareness to quake as a game, and potentially bring people to making even more funner and elaborate mods, maps, TCs, and maybe new source ports?
Because to have an awards thing will catch peoples eyes, and awards are a great motivation for some.

It's been discussed before, with the general consensus being that it's not really worth the downsides & drama it would likely bring. Check out khreathor's post in this thread for a few examples of previous attempts and the reaction to them:

Some things for you to research:

• There was Quake Awards organised once: THE QUAKE AWARDS 2018-19 but it died after one season.
  Main problem people had was that "it will start competition" and "[...]why these judges and not someone else...".

• There was Quake 100 Brush Competition, Version 4.0 which unfortunately had unannounced secret jury, which judged maps and then posted list with scores. People got very upset by this. Some said stuff like...

I've previously suggested a neutral "Year in Review" type thing as a way to celebrate content releases without the competitive aspect, but no one's done one.

I mean I originally thought that the cacowards was a year in review, but still, we should do a quake yearly recap for all.
