i used aseprite to make the textures themselves, i palletized them in aseprite, then saved them as .BMPs and imported them to TexMex :>

Gnorlio's map is awesome! Normally, I dislike profoundly such black and white maps, but this one, with its mysterious music, no monsters, has such a strong atmosphere, that I think it's one of the most original and artistic feel map I saw in a very long time in Quake!

My only critic is it need a better, high res, texture. Is it possible to get a high resolution texture for this gem?

Naitelveni map's is also great, but there's no music attached to it, while there are several very nice music tracks included in the mod. It apparently asks for a CD track 0, which isn't included.

How can I force this map to use one of the tracks, without typing a music command in the console, each time I starts a new game with it?

I am so sorry, but I need a hint how to enable a Nightmare gate. I know how to collect keys.

Hint:
keys open locks, now what area in the start map could possibly have locks? ;>

Hint 2:
Poke around the tool texture Museum in the middle wing, some of those textures might be worth a look! ;>>

Thank you, but it is not enough. As I understand, I have to find some trigger, don't I? Is this trigger at the museum? What kind of texture do I need to find? Triggers texture? Is an axe needed?

This is beautiful. A testament to Quake modding/jams, and game modding/jams in general.

The start-map is majestic, and made me tear up a lil' after seeing the id tribute statue with the music (Which really adds to the massive colosseum
starting-map, might I add!). The many multiple, high quality, atmospheric, maps are, well, super high quality and atmospheric. I don't do a lot of
justice when I say the maps are super cool and good, but trust me, they are.

i also like the name, because "BYOB" reminds me of the System Of A Down song ;)
