I made this over a few weeks using Trenchbroom because I was feeling nostalgic for the extremely low quality quake maps I used to make back in the day. This is the first single player quake maps I've made in more than 20 years. I did make one deathmatch map right before this one so had a little bit of practice beforehand. I used a bunch of random textures and I tried to credit as many as I could in the readme and used the Quake Compiling GUI by necros0 and played and tested in Quakespasm. I mostly divided it into three maps because when I started I made a heap of dodgy brushes in the first area which blew my vis time out to an insane amount, and rather than redoing it cos I'd already spent way too long on it I decided to end the map quickly and make it a multi map situation and try and learn from my mistakes on the following maps.
After looking at a few of the maps on here and the reviews I gotta say in advance sorry for all the teleporting enemies and ridiculous situations where they spawn right on top of you. I thought it was funny cos thats how I used to make maps as a teenager. So please forgive that and some of the silly things I added like bike jumps and hopefully not too opaque and tedious puzzles. Anyway I made this about a year ago and it has just sat on my hard drive and I have not been able to convince anyone I know to play it so thought I would try and find somewhere to upload it online, i tried itch.io but seems unliikey anyone will find it on there, but then I found here where people are actually uploading and playing maps which is great! Hope someone can get a laugh out of it and it isn't too painful to play ha ha.. Would love to get some feedback and I may update if it's something simple and not too time consuming to fix.
One last thing is I definitely recommend saving your game occasionally, as some of the fights are pretty unfair.
