my first ever map ever

it's probably stupid to release this, i made it to try out all the features of trenchbroom and spent about 2 days making it. there was no planning, so expect every rule in the book to be broken. please still let me know what you think, any criticism is good criticism. definitely going to plan on paper before making a map next time.

to play, extract zip into your quake directory, launch quake and type "game first_map" in console. start new game to play.

Pretty good, up until the elevator going down with the enemy waves. The space was way too cramped, with no way to take cover. Very chaotic. It became so frustrating I had to use god mode to get through it. Also, large parts of the map are way too dark. The platforming section was nice.

Well - quite nice for a first! Especially as this was meant to just test features.
It seems like You are already well on your way to develop your own style. Please carry on - if this is just a 'slap-up', then i'd really like to see something that You have planned ahead... ;)
Thanks for Your effort, and thanks for sharing!
The moving parts to this are great, despite the slightly cramped scale. Some different enemy setups to accompany them though perhaps, or ever so slightly more ammo and you get yourself a very unique map.

Congratulations on your first release. I have played it several times. A few things that came to mind:

- I think every map deserves a proper name.
- some of the horde fights were a bit chaotic for my taste
- the jumping part was fun, I think it would flow better without enemies
- the floating button at the beginning seemed strange
- Less is more, killing 30 zombies isn't 30 times as much fun, at least for me.

Still, I had fun and I'm looking forward to your next map. Thanks for your work.
