Moving Parts Jam 2

Interesting map pack. More experimental than most. I guess this pack can provide inspiration for things to come.
I must especially commend Rabbit for his novel assault on my already somewhat worn sanity. The combination of this map, textures and sound can drive anybody my age (too old!) to become an axe murderer.
I think, with this map in mind, i'll strip naked and go play on the railroad tracks...
Well done everyone! Thanks for your efforts, and thanks for sharing!
Good small pack to play. Some fun ideas here and there. Moving platforms and contraptions used well. Nothing groundbreaking really but just good light platforming and gameplay.

Inner Space by Vanponti was my favorite. I like the way this dark cave was built and structured. All spiky moving objects inhabiting it were a nice touch on top of the style.

Thanks a lot for the great maps and for organizing these jams to satisfy my regular Quake cravings:

Nathan's Hot Dog Sludge Processing

Some jumping, some shooting — what more can you ask for? I found the difficulty of the map a bit inconsistent. The beginning was very easy, but the final fight was quite hard.

Vertical Neon Sky High
Some more shooting and some more jumping in a nice neon environment.

Joy, if Only Briefly
The highlight of this pack for me. It would have worked perfectly even without any enemies.

Inner Space
A completely different look and feel compared to the other maps. This time, there's a lot of hostile stuff moving around. Unfortunately, I haven't found the secret yet — seems to be a tough one.

An Unnamed Map
A rather small, straightforward map that is very easy. Unfortunately, there's no secret.

I like it.
Thank you.

Like zenialynn, I thought these were all fun maps which definitely met the brief. I'm rating 4/5 just because I do wish some of them had been a little longer... and like zenialynn, I'd say some of them are a little stingy on ammo, even on normal.

As always, I like Chuma's mapping (but I was confused by having too many gold keys - it seems like there's 3 gold keys and only 2 gold doors, since the final secret doesn't need one), and I found Rabbit's quite a nice workout - the final jumping section is the hardest by far, though.

Fun bitesized pack! A lot of maps here definitely would be cool to see revisited as bigger projects, but as compact as they currently are, they are still very impressive on the layout, art and combat front. I think ammo was teetering on the side of being a bit too little but not a huge issue for most of the maps, I like how tight the corridors were, at least for Copper 1.35's nightmare, you definitely feel it there. Enforcers bobbing up and down are a sight to behold.
