A short combat focused map. I used prototype textures to allow myself to focus on the layout construction and the combat. Basically i wanted to skip environment art aside from illumination. I think the map is not very hard, but it does has some spicy moments.
This is my first completed map for Quake. I think it's fun but nothing to excepcional. Im aware that there's a lot of room for improvement. I made Doom II maps before, so it was fun learning and adapting to Quake game mechanics and environment creation (Although it does shares some similarities with Doom of course).
Can't wait to finish another map!
Tested using Ironwail and Quakespasm. No difficulty settings.
