The great amount of work for sure.
But I didn't even found earth key in a 4+ hours.
Too eclectical view and so many closed areas on the upper floors!

The size of level should be compensated by the navigation. And then the usual technique when you should get the key in one end of the map and then search for it application across all the map... It doesn't fill good at these sizes :(
Sorry :(

Here is my contribution to your Maps. Beautiful and varied Maps!

Quake - [Mod: progs_dump_300] - [Episode: Desecrator] - Map: #01 - Malebolge - [4K60ᶠᵖˢ]

Quake - [Mod: progs_dump_300] - [Episode: Desecrator] - Map: #02 - The City of Dis - [4K60ᶠᵖˢ]

Setting aside the fact that it took me a very long time to play through it, that was simply due to the massive size of the maps and, in part, the fact that I explored almost every nook and cranny. The enemies posed a real challenge for me, as their positioning was excellent given the spaciousness of the maps. The architecture is—to put it mildly—simply breathtaking. The second level was brutally difficult toward the end, and I had to take out the final Shambler with my axe. It was a very long episode, but the wealth of detail fully justifies the length. Great work...

Thank you for this! Much appreciated.
Excellent set of maps.
Good map structure.
I like it, but sometimes you have to walk around to find the next steps of the scenario (no any kind of trackers).
Thank you for your time and labor.

This is gonna be a very harsh review, and if some fixes are implemented, this could be a five star mod.

Some positives:
- the custom soundtrack SLAPS and fits the vibe perfectly
- very ambitious level design (although this is also a negative)
- some really cool ideas and creative concepts
- enemies have custom weapons which made it feel like an RPG at times. Very cool. (eg death knight with lightning bolt)
-fights are fun, challenging and fair.
Awesome exploration (this is a negative unfortunately as well)
- distinct, large areas

Now the negatives.
- extremely poor signposting, I couldn't finish the second level after finding both city keys, the silver key. Now stuck searching for the gold key and earth rune to blow up the "boulders". Have 260 ish kills out of 370.
- progression keys are in very strange places (for example the city key is on a random tiny ledge on a staircase, and the key blends in with the environment) I fell on it by accident.
- I mentioned the large impressive size of the second level. This overly ambitious size and layout, keys which are hidden and blend into the environment, works against the player in every way possible.
- switches that open gates/doors that the player came across 20 minutes ago. HUH moments.

I'm writing such a long ass review because I really enjoyed the adenture, and I want to love and finish this mod. I spent 2 hours running around the entire map, right back to the start and end a couple of time. I REFUSE TO NOCLIP TO FINISH A MAP. That is not fun in any way.

Ultimately, in the current state, the second map is crushed by sheer ambition and strange design choices.
Absolutely epic map that last one. Nice to see you making Quake levels again, I still remember your Quake 2 releases! I didn't even know you'd released something else in 2020 that I never played.

Anyway the size and layout of the main city is pretty amazing.

I do note I got very confused after picking up the earth rune I had no idea where to go. After 5mins of noclipping around I saw this little altar and just walked into it, I guess that was it! So to anyone playing, it's in the main hub area and just down a bit, you've got to find a ladder that goes down. Adding monsters to guide the player back there would help, but I was on the edge of getting lost several times but always managed to find where I was supposed to go.

Chthon was a breeze he couldn't hit me with fireballs while I just lobbed grenades, and then the ending was not very difficult. In fact, I'd say overall it wasn't that difficult, the hardest part was avoiding the fireball shamblers in map 1. But that's okay because I don't really want 2 hours of constant hardcore difficulty anyway, you want some peace and with almost 400 monsters in map 2. Note I was on medium.

Anyway no wonder you wanted to get this finished it's so big and detailed you must have spent 100s of hours on it, in fact this is like Tronyn style map, except without the horde gameplay.
