Blood Colored Rust

Quoth excels in base theme and Blood Colored Rust is a perfect example how to make Quoth work. It doesn't get too crazy with gameplay but keeps itself grounded to the style it is going for. Final encounter was a well balanced and welcomed challenge at the end. Blood Colored Rust is also a very beautiful map to look at with high detail level put into it.

Quoth may have some problems with tanky monsters, but if map has you fight through tight spaces where you control the pace, it doesn't become much of an issue.

Awesome job Mista Heita!
Long story short. One year ago I came to Quake community (came back since I played it in '96). And Alkaline just came out. And I played it, and all was fine with an exception of one single map. Mista Heita's map of course! It was brutally hard, so hard I could not finish it even on Easy. As a result I became angry "Who the hell is this Heita so he makes so hard maps so I cant play em?!?" And looked for his other maps and found this one. And played it. And loved it right away. Because of extremely nice visuals, atmospheric tight hallways. Encounters were brutal but doable. So. If you want to switch hate into love than play this map. And Mista Heita will become Mista Lovya
