Arachnotron (Progs_Dump 3 resource)

If you've checked the Quake 1 artwork page on Steam any time since mid-2024, you may have seen some of my work. I've been asked more than once to upload my models, but I've been kinda hesitant since my workflows are pretty idiosyncratic and not very easy to explain.

This upload is essentially a test to see whether my assets are actually useful to others.

This is a small collection of assets meant to be used by mappers with the Progs_Dump 3 (pd_300) devkit to create a new enemy (the Doom II arachnotron) using the enforcer as a base.

Additionally, if you just want to use this model in the base game rather than a custom map, you can do so by downloading the "arachnotron_quake_players" .zip file.

Projectile.

Includes two skins for both the head and body model, one with red blood and the other with blue blood, along with 3 different skins for the projectile (blue, yellow and orange).
