Cool concept. Polished design. Pulse-pounding combat.

Incredible visual flavor and pitch-perfect game feel. Just beware that playing with Copper will break progression triggers (e.g elevator after silver key) just like with Cement Mixer.
A very fun map, played on hard and was quite impressed by the ammo balancing, I always felt like I was given ammo just as I was beginning to run out (though admittedly I'm not super conservative with my shots). Difficulty was challenging but fair, though
the secret quad damage was maybe a little too out in the open for how easy it made the fight against 2 shamblers and a vore
.
Very glad the texture set for this has been released as I love the flesh-tech theme that isn't explored super often in quake. Map had a great flow to it and although it was obvious that the map was constructed in a limited space, it never felt like it hindered the gameplay as combat areas were re-used very well to create new encounters.

My only real complaint is that the ending felt a bit anticlimactic on hard, as the final fight was just against grunts and ogres. I feel maybe it could have been warranted to throw a vore or other higher level monster in to the very last encounter?

What a wonderful, meaty puzzle box of a map!

Short, sweet, very fun. Part of me wishes the map had another "gear", so to speak, and cranked things up a bit more (with, say, some sort of climactic fight although I did appreciate the short quad run), but what's here is pretty much constant fun, so... it's not really an issue. Top-notch.

This map is amazing, it plays so well with just the right amount of ammo and whatnot, love how it unfolds vertically!

Very good short map. Finished in 12 minutes with a very casual playthrough. I admit I'm not a big fan of maps that open gradually, but this level design is pretty good.

The texture selection and the lighting is perfect, also the secret is well placed.

One caveat is, in one speciffic part of the map there's a high volume portal sound effect. Maybe that's because there's a spawnroom nearby. I suggest to place the spawnroom futher away or disable the sound

Meat is certainly one of the maps with the highest replayability for me. Short, crisp and a little bit different with every run. The continuous action motivates you to do it a little cleaner next time. Great map. Thank you very much.

While I generally enjoy smaller and shorter maps, I don't usually expect much to stand out to me when I play them. This map is a notable exception, as everything from its layout to its design is genuinely remarkable. The map does a great job at leading you towards you next objective, and the enemy placement clearly had some thought behind it, which I appreciate. Very good map! 6 Trons

Very cool like previous 1024 limit map from Carter. So much gameplay packed into a small space, but also having more open space which makes it feel less claustrophobic. Almost wish it would've gone a bit harder with the encounters.

Very nice map, a bit hectic for me, but still very nice. Interesting way of triggering the progression through the map.
Impressive work with the new textures... it looks a bit much like the abbattoir a few miles away...Yuck!
All in all, highly recommendable!
Thanks for Your work, and thanks for sharing!
Dynamic and exciting playthrough.

Impressive visuals, unrelenting combat, and impeccably tight pacing - like the previous map, definitely among the best of the best.

Feels nice to move around in despite the 1024 limitation, clear improvement over the previous map, layered setups are done well. Stellar job on the textures.

I loved the previous map 'Cement Mixer' but Meat Meat is even more polished and frantic.

Perfectly executed. Uses loads of doors and other moving parts for both level progression, and to shift the map around for the different encounters. Perfect pacing; by the time I was getting over it, it was finished. Great texture usage. Found the (1) secret. Very nice.
